Installation of an .ipk file via extension

Old Enigma2 Versions

Extensions from the Enigma2 Software Feed can be installed as follows:

  1. Push the MENU button.
  2. Select the entry Extensions.
  3. Select the entry Manage Extensions.
  4. Select the category (e.g. recordings, communication, multimedia) with the OK button.
  5. Select the desired package with the green button, or the OK button.
  6. Push the yellow button show details.
  7. Start the installation with the Install button.

After the installation, restart Enigma2. The packages can be removed in the same way.

Ambox notice.png Extensions can also be installed / removed with the software management. Via MENU → Settings → Software management → Install extensions.
