Enigma2

Enigma2 wurde eingeführt mit der Dreambox 7025 die mit zwei Tuner (Twin-Tuner)
ausgestattet ist und der HDTV-Funktion der neueren Dreamboxen.
Enigma2 ist somit das neue Betriebsystem welches natürlich stetig weiterentwicklet wird.
Dieses wird in folgenden Boxen eingesetzt:

Dreambox 7025(+),800 und 8000

Es war den Entwickler wohl zu viel Arbeit die ganzen Neuerungen ins Enigma1
einfließen zu lassen so wurde eben das neue Enigma2 geboren.

Durch die Neuentwicklung des Systems sind die Addons für Enigma 1 hier nicht lauffähig,
und müssen von den jeweiligen Autoren um- bzw. neu geschrieben werden.
Auch die Skins aus Enigma1 und Enigma2 sind untereinander nicht kompatibel.

Enigma2 was introduced with the Dreambox 7025, which provide two tuners.
It also supports the HDTV-functions of the newest dreamboxes.
Enigma2 therefore is the new operating system of the Dreamboxes,
which is continuesly development.

It is used at the following boxtypes:

Dreambox 7025(+),800 und 8000

It was assumingly to much work for the developers to implement all the
improvement into Enigma1. Due to the redevelopment of the system Addons of Enigma1 couldn't be
used in Enigma2 and had to be rewritten by the particular pluginauthors.
Also the Skins from Enigma1 and Enigma2 are not compatible among each other.
