Installation via web browser
You need:
- Dreambox connected to the router/AP by cable
- A router/AP with active DHCP server
- A browser (IE, Opera, Firefox)
- A recent image with extention (
*.tar.xz)
Install firmware
- Bring the Dreambox in the stop mode of the Rescue Loader.
- Access the Rescue Loader with the web browser.
- Choose Firmware upload.
- Use browse... to select the image.
- Start the upload with Go!.
- After the successful installation, click Click here to reboot to reboot the dreambox.
- Have fun with the configuration of the new image.
