Here you can find informations about the installation of different types of Addons. This includes Tarballs (.tar.gz and tar.bz2) or packages for Package Management Systems, such as IPKG, OPKG or APT . This can be performed automatically (if the Dreambox has an internet connection) or manually by FTP / Telnet when the addon (package) is downloaded on a computer before.

The article covers the possibilities which are valid for all Enigma2 Dreamboxes. Additionally the installation in relation with the Gemini Project (GP, GP2 and GP3) are also mentioned. |
