The Bios of the Dreambox 800

How do I get into the bios? The answer is quite simple. First go to the menu of the Dreambox and selest "Reboot". Once the box is switched off and the display turns black, get your finger near the left upper button beside the display. When the display lights up again, press the button Keep pressing the button until the text changes from DHCP into STOP. It's the same procedure which is used for flashing the box, take a look at DMM. But, instead of using the browser to flash the box, connect via Telnet with the Box. You are in the bios of the box... Use the arrow keys of your keyboard to navigate in the bios. But, only make changes if you know what you're doing. Don't trust settings if you're not sure about the source... How do I get into the bios without an IP adress ? This manual is valid for the 8000 and the 800.
