Installation to Flash

Installation via WebBrowser

You need:

- a LAN-Cable (possibly a Cross-over-cable für eine PC-Dreambox Direktverbindung)

- a recent Gemini-image (to be found at the Database)

- if you don't have a DHCP running, a serial cable and hypertermnal to set a IP Adress

- a browser (IE, Opera, Firefox)

Installation with DMM-Software (Serial cable)

You need:

- a serial cable RS 232

- a recent Gemini-Image (to be found at the Database)

- the updatesoftware DreamUp (NOT DreamUpLan!)

Installation with DCC (root.cramfs)

DCC currently doesn't support Enigma 2 and therefore DM 7025.

Installation on external media

To install an image on an USB-stick or a CF-card you can use differnt programs.

But the image, which is used in flash should be quite recent (CVS-image recommended).

Thats because the drives of the image installed in flash will be used and should be mostly the same as used in the Gemini image to be installed on external media.
