Die Gemini Images sind Dreambox Images mit erweiterten Funktionen. DAS Hauptmerkmal ist das eigene Bluepanel. Besondere Features des Gemini-Images sind: Die meisten Standartfunktionen aus dem Openembedded Bild in Bild Videotext Media Player der eigene Addon Server für online Download Bluepanel für Enigma1 BluePanel für Enigma2 Die zusätzlichen Konfiguration-Funktionen z.B.: GeräteManager Dienste/ Daemons Automount Editor Swapfile-Option Passwortänderung Die integrierten (fest eingebauten] Erweiterungen: DateiManager Dreamnetcast / Streamripper JukeBox Wetterplugin RSS-Reader eMail-Checker eTorrent Webcam-Viewer Kalender Wecker Userscript Support durch das IHAD-Forum Aufgebaut werden die Geminis jeweils auf dem entsprechenden CVS / OE - Image Entwicklungsstand. Das Gemini-Team ist bemüht, so wenig wie möglich Änderungen an der CVS/OE-Entwicklung zu machen, damit sich das Gemini-Image so nah und kompatibel wie möglich an dem entsprechenden "an der CVS-Basis" anlehnt. Die Erweiterungen, wie z.B. das BluePanel setzen an den jeweiligen CVS/OE an und werden zusätzlich, meist modular, eingebunden. Wenn also vermeintliche Geminifehler entdeckt werden sollte man sich nicht wundern wenn einem mitgeteilt wird dass diese aus dem CVS/OE kommen und das Gemini Team nicht schuld ist :) Im Zweifelsfall ist ein Gegencheck mit einem CVS / OE - Image sinnvoll. Die Gemini-Philosophie ist es ein sauberes "erweitertets" CVS/OE-Image anzubieten, das dann vom User (Benutzer) selbst modular über sogenannte "Plugins" individuell erweitert werden kann. Die Gemini-Devise ist es, denjenigen ein Image anzubieten, die auch gerne mit der Box experimentieren und sich ihr eigenes individuelles Gemini modular soweit aufrüsten, wie es jeder für sich möchte. Die Gemini-Images enthalten keinerlei Keys oder Softcams. Backups und sonstige modifizierte Images sind nicht vom Gemini-Team und werden somit von diesem auch nicht Supportet!!!

The images are built on the correspondent CVS / OE - Image development.
The Gemini-Team tries to change as less as possible at the CVS/OE-Development, so that the Gemini-Image is as close and compatible as possible to the correspondent "CVS-Base"

The extensions, for instance the BluePanel are attached to the CVS/OE and are implementet modularly in the most times.

So if someone finds a "Gemini-error" don't be surprised when it turns out to be an CVS-error and the Gemini-Team is not responsible ;)

In such a case a check of the CVS / OE - Image is reasonable.

It's the philosophy of the Gemini-Team to provide a clean "extended" CVS/OE-Image,
which the user can individually extend by himself with the use of the "plugins".
The Gemini-Image is for those users, who like to experiment with their boxes and like to modularly upgrade their images, as far as they want to.

Gemini-Images don't include any softcams or keys.

Backups and any other modified images are not produced by th Gemini-Tea and will therefore not supported by the team!!!
